Todays tasks consisted of us bringing in 5 fashion photographs from magazine which show the full body figure of a model. With these photographs we was asked to create 3D outfits on to the models with our initial sample ideas. Each of us then pinned one of our 5 onto a board for us to all observe each others and then to have a discussion on why we had a favourite and what we liked about each others. I felt that I could have done much better with the first task we was given. I only realised how much I could have improved once viewing others and discussing their thoughts. However, I did enjoy playing around with the body figure and designing different clothing for each one.

| Zoomed in you can see one of my designs on the top left hand corner |
| Another image of my design, using paper scrunched up and glued down to create a long skirt on the model |
| Another design of mine using newspaper scrunched up covering the model, I find this to be my weakest design as it doesn't represent an outfit well, only covering what is already there. |
| On this design I used brown card to roll up small telescopes then taped them all together to form an unusual coat on to the model |
| On this design I used yellow paper and cut out shapes inside and out to form a spiky top |
| We was then asked to choose a specific area of the body to work from in our next exercise given. I decided to choose legs as you can work nicely with this part of the body creating many different outfits covering this area. After choosing this area we was asked to repeat it using a photocopier and then to do different designs on each one either using materials or drawing. |
| Starting off by making yellow trousers, following my progress of making a newspaper skirt. |
| A photo of my progress |
| A photo of my final 9 images completed |
| I then decided to change the last one on the right on the middle row |
I found myself to enjoy designing further samples of clothing on the model than i had expected and really found it to be a calming exercise to carry out but also very detailed at the same time. I enjoyed using materials to make designs rather than using sketches.
| I then drew out designs on how I would create these designs for tomorrows tasks. This included what materials to use, what to do, small sketches of what I need to do in order to get to that skirt. I found that sketching out the designs and thinking about what I wanted to do properly was really helpful in terms of planning out what I need to use and whether it would be possible to create. |
